This week is going to be manic! The judo world has its eyes on Hungary, where hundreds of elite athletes have already descended for the Tata EJU Olympic Training Camp (OTC), running from 7–12 April. Olympic, World, and European champions are putting in the final grind before stepping onto the mat for the EJU’s crown jewel, the Senior European Championships, now just weeks away!

The mat stays hot across Europe as Poland and Czechia kick off their own high-intensity camps from Monday to Wednesday. Young talents will battle it out at the Poznań EJU Junior Training Camp and the Teplice EJU Cadet Training Camp, both serving as launchpads for the next leg of their judo journeys.
By midweek, it is go-time again! Juniors will head to Italy for the Lignano Junior European Cup 2025, boasting a whopping 534 judoka from 29 nations. Meanwhile, the cadets are bound for Georgia, ready to shine at the Tbilisi “Millennium Team” Cadet European Cup 2025, featuring 355 judoka from 15 countries.
This weekend, the spotlight swings to both, veterans and rising hopes. In Warsaw, we salute experience and spirit at the Veteran European Cup 2025, with 140 judoka from 22 nations showing age is no barrier to greatness. Meanwhile, Sarajevo hosts the European Judo Hopes Tournament and Technical Session with Kodokan Experts, nurturing the next generation under the guidance of true masters.

And for the judo purists? All eyes turn to Reims, where the elegant, precise world of kata takes centre stage at the IJF Kata World Series 2025. With 131 judoka from 11 nations, this is where tradition meets technical excellence.
