The EU Sport Forum 2025 Kicks Off in Kraków

The EU Sport Forum 2025 is currently underway at the Holiday Inn Kraków City Centre, uniting key voices in the European sport landscape for two days of high-level dialogue and collaboration. Held on 10-11 April, this prestigious, invitation-only event is organised by the European Commission and welcomes a select group of participants from across the continent.

Among those privileged to attend is the European Judo Union (EJU), proud to be part of the discussions shaping the future of sport in Europe. The forum gathers representatives from EU institutions, international sport federations, Olympic committees, national ministries, grassroots organisations and athlete advocacy groups.

This year’s agenda focuses on crucial topics such as the European Sport Model, the integration of sport in education and EU enlargement efforts, the role of artificial intelligence in sport and the continued commitment to athlete welfare.

Sessions are alive with energy and innovation and reflections from Erasmus+ Sport initiatives are offering valuable perspectives for future planning. For those not on site, select sessions from Room Renoir are available via live stream, ensuring broader engagement with the forum’s key themes.

As discussions unfold in Kraków, the EJU is honoured to contribute to this exclusive gathering and to represent the voice of judo in the European sport community.
