On Saturday 21st of September, the German Judo Federation will host the Veteran European Cup 2024 in Hamburg, as well as a ne waza competition that debuted in the Veteran European Championships this year in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
There will be 177 competitors arriving in Hamburg from 29 nations, with some coming from as far as the United States of America and Kazakhstan. However the stronghold lies with the host nation, who have entered an incredible 94 judoka, 34 of which are women. This is the second last stop of the European Tour before the veteran athletes head to Las Vegas, USA, for the ultimate World Championship challenge.
