For two weeks in a row, the cadet scene has been ruled by the French, on this occasion in the Fuengirola Cadet European Cup 2024, they swiped five gold, nine silver and a whopping 18 bronze medals to top the standings.
That being said, the hosts, Spain, secured second spot, gold medals won by Aiora MARTIN CARRICHES (-40kg), Africa PUENTE LOPEZ (-44kg) and Ivan KONOVAL (-90kg).
With 23 nations and 484 judoka vying for the top podium position, this is no easy feat, and they gave impressive performances on home soil, before they engage in the training camp between the 19th and 21st of February, to gain even more invaluable experience.
