Sergey SOLOVEYCHIK was unanimously re-elected as President of the Russian Judo Federation for a four-year term. The general assembly in Sirius was attended by 77 delegates and various guests of honour, including Olympic champions Vladimir NEVZOROV (1976/-70), Mansur ISAEV (2012/73) and Tagir KHAIBULAEV (2012/-100).
In his speech, Sergey Soloveychik, who took over the presidency from Vasily ANISIMOV in 2022, emphasised the professional work of the federation’s employees and the extensive support of the sponsors, “without whom projects such as the National Judo Tour, the Continental Judo League, Preschool Judo, My First Belt and Family of Champions would not be possible.”
Along with the 59-year-old, the following delegates were elected to the Executive Committee (in alphabetical order): Pavel BALSKIY, Mikhail CHERKASOV, Dmitry CERNYKH, Valentin KHABIROV, Rashid KHANTIMIROV, Vitaly MAKAROV, Vladimir NEVZOROV, Ivan NIFONTOV, Vladimir PLOTNIKOV, Viktor PODDUBNY, Arkady ROTENBERG, Boris ROTENBERG, Igor SIDORKEVICH and Tamerlan TMENOV.
