The city of Piła, Poland, is preparing to welcome some of the most talented judoka for the European Judo Championships U23, which will take place from 15th to 17th November 2024. This prestigious event, which highlights both emerging and established judo proficiency while serving as a key bridge between the junior and senior stages, will be held at the Sports Hall MOSiR Piła.
With still two weeks remaining until the entry deadline, over 130 judoka from 15 nations have already confirmed their participation, and the numbers are expected to rise as teams finalise their rosters. Mr. Jacek Zawadka, President of the Polish Judo Association, expressed his excitement for the upcoming event. He emphasised the importance of the competition for the athletes and for Poland as a host nation;

On behalf of our Federation, it is a pleasure to welcome you in Poland for one of the most fascinating and important events in our sport, U23 European Judo Championships 2024. The most talented young judoka in the world will travel to Piła in November for competition. This event marks an important stage for judokas as they seek to develop technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills which are necessary to complete the highest sport levels.
I believe that it will be one of the strongest, dynamic and interesting tournament of this year.
