One week after the successful OTC in Nymburk (CZE) 25 national teams arrived on the 2nd of April at the Olympic Training Centre in Tata, Hungary.
Goal is to continue the preparation for the European Championships which will take place in Budapest from 25-28 April. Tata is an ideal training opportunity situation in the comfortable hotels of the Olympic Training Centre at a beautiful location. The Training venue is situated next to the lake and not far from the town.
The 159 judoka took the opportunity to use all sports facilities such as 900 m² of tatami, weight lifting rooms, athletic training tracks, football fields, swimming pools and sauna. For sure OTS’s have great influence on top judo development and bring judo players on higher level. The best evidence was the London Olympic Games.
The European Judo Union is ambitious to continue its hunger for medals. The 39 women, 120 men from 25 countries share that ambition and will be training in Tata until the 6th of April.
