The opening ceremony of the Sarajevo European Open 2024 was led by EJU Sport Commission Senior Advisor and Senior Vice President of the Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Branislav CRNOGORAC,
I wish you a warm welcome to Sarajevo, again we come together to enjoy the European Open and I welcome the Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo, Mr Samir AVDIC and Counsellor, Deputy Head of Mission of Japan, Mr TOBIBAYASHI Ryohei. We organise many international competitions, from Cups and Opens to European and World Championships. For this I would like to give thanks to the President of the International Judo Federation, Mr Marius VIZER, and President of the European Judo Union, Mr Laszlo TOTH for giving us this opportunity.
As you know, we are proud as the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to see our young athletes have the dream to reach the Olympic Games and perhaps we will some of them in LA 2028. Thank you to the organising committee and volunteer, please enjoy your stay in Sarajevo and good luck.

First of all, I would like to say welcome to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, welcome to this beautiful hotel which provides great infrastructure, the European Judo Union must be proud with the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the best organisers.
Today we celebrate judo here once again in Sarajevo. And I hope all competitors and coaches will be satisfied with their stay and their results. Please take great memories from Sarajevo and we will see you once again next year!
