Informed by the Judo Federation of the Republic of Moldova, on March 11, 2023, the General Assembly of Elections took place.
It was decided unanimously that the current President of the Federation, Mr Andrei GOLBAN would continue to lead until 2028.
The unanimous re-election of President Golban is proof of the absolute confidence and recognition of his merits for the progress that the judo community has achieved under his leadership. The federation states;
We are deeply grateful for the support and help of IJF and EJU. Together we are a strong family with beautiful and correct principles and values.
President Golban addressed those present,
I am very grateful to all members of the Federation for unity, friendship, collaboration, respect and solidarity. Thank you to IJF and EJU, to all the officials, our Executive Board, staff and everyone involved in the world of judo. I am honored by the confidence of the Judo family and to continue the development and promotion of our sport for the next period. We have achieved a lot together and together we are ready for new challenges.
