We are only four weeks out from the Zagreb European Judo Championships 2024 and at the same time, the EJU and Croatian Judo Federation will be preparing the Kids Camp which was a huge success during the time of the Zagreb Grand Prix last year.

Tina TRSTENJAK
First of the special guests is 2016 Olympic Champion and Tokyo Olympic silver medallist Tina TRSTENJAK who is now moving around the world, embedded both in the IJF Referee Commission as a supervisor and educating coaches with the IJF Academy. It’s time to meet the champion!
Rustam ORUJOV
Another big player is Olympic and World silver medallist for Azerbaijan, Rustam ORUJOV who is member of the athlete’s commission as well as recently appointed Sport Commissioner for the European Judo Union. Recently establishing his own academy in Azerbaijan, Orujov is passing on his knowledge to the next generation, give your children the special opportunity too!
KARAKAS Hedvig
KARAKAS Hedvig is one the youngest to medal in a senior World Championships, only 19 years old when taking her medal in 2009, incidentally the same year she became a senior European Championship medallist in Tbilisi and Junior World Champion in Paris! With 27 IJF World Judo Tour accolades to her name, Karakas is one of the most experienced and successful, earning the European Championship title in 2020. Since retirement, she is now an established member of the IJF team but still continues on the tatami at home in Hungary!
Nuno DELGADO
The most senior and experienced of the team in education is the EJU Judo for Children Commissioner and Portugal’s first Olympic medallist in judo, Nuno DELGADO. With a wealth of knowledge and time on the tatami as a coach and instructor, having the chance to join him is invaluable. So register now!
