In Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a press conference was held prior to the start of the U23 European Championships 2022. It will be held in Arena Hills at Ilidža, with 300 competitors from 40 countries.
This event is another recognition for the Judo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has distinguished itself in recent years as a great technical organisation of major competitions. Dr. Branislav CRNOGORAC, President of the Judo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated:
I’m proud of the successful technical organisation of major competitions that we organised in the past. Praises and compliments from IJF and EJU are good for us and they are the best recommendation for obtaining the organisation of future major competitions.
Representatives of the national team were present including Anđela SAMARDŽIĆ.
In my category, there will be 24 competitors, which are the best European judokas in this competition, when we talk about senior women up to the age of 23. I will definitely try to get through excellent performances. If I win a medal it would be a very successful season for me.
