Dear Judo Family!
On the occasion of Kano Sensei’s birthday, we are proud to celebrate our joy of judo, our love of competition and our respect to judoka, coaches and referees around the world. Fighting against challenges, respecting strict rules and each other, managing in unexpected circumstances are in the core of our sport and in the heart of each judoka, our greatest advantage and key to success.
The year 2020 was supposed to unite judoka woldwide with the joy of Olympic Games and in fact, it united us in this new strategy of staying safe and having judo back. The EJU is very grateful to European member federations and clubs for overcoming all of these new difficulties with love and dedication to judo – values no-one can mask.
