The next edition of the European Judo Hopes Cup & Technical Session Kodokan Experts will take place in Győr from 1st – 2nd June. This is the third edition of this event which had proven to be a great success. The Olimpiai Sportpark – Olympic Sportpark will see Olympic silver medallist, Rusty Orujov inspiring the next generation alongside Kodokan expert, Nakamura Misato.
The European Hopes Judo Cup and Kodokan Technical Seminar is open for clubs from all EJU/IJF Member Federations. The participants compete for their club (not for the Federation) and are entered by the club. IJF nationality rule does not apply. The participants may be a different nationality than the NF registering them. The athletes are required to attend both, competition and technical sessions.
Over 200 judoka from 16 countries and 72 judo clubs are heading to the northwest of Hungary for an enjoyable weekend with the gentle way. The city of Győr was awarded the European Judo City title at the beginning of the year. With the weekend’s events, Győr has once again demonstrated its suitability for the accolade.
