The best judoka of the world have an appointment this weekend as the first ever IJF Masters will take place in Suwon/KOR.
Only the 16th best qualified athletes in each of the 14 weight divisions were invited to join the event, which will share US$ 200.000 prize money (Gold US$ 6.000, Silver US$ 4.000 and Bronze US$ 2.000). The medals won in the World Masters also mean more points in the WRL: 400 for the first place, 240 points for the second place, 160 for the third places and 80 points for the fifth places.
Competition will start at 11:00 (local time) on both Saturday (16th) and Sunday (17th), with the final block taking place from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Suwon Gymnasium.

11:00 – Start of competition (Suwon Gymnasium): 81kg, 90kg, 100kg, +100kg, 70kg, 78kg, +78kg
