The next stop in the series of Cadet European Cup 2024 will be Antalya, Türkiye. This weekend, over 350 judoka from 19 countries are head to the Turkish resort city. With spring only beginning, and following Follonica and Fuengirola, this is already the third stop for the youngsters.
A single winner returning to the scene via Ivo GALENKOV (BUL) who won the -50kg category in Italy a little under a month ago. The rest of the entry gives open access to all attendees. Nine young Kosovar judoka will appear on the field of play amongst which there are two familiar surnames, noticeably; Furkan KELMENDI (KOS / -50kg) and Fiona KUKA (KOS / -57kg). The Kuwait team embarks with a fine number of 12 athletes. France won several gold medals at both previous events. For this weekend, two of them will seek to shine for the Les Blues; Dayana ALGER (FRA / +70kg) and Jules CAUDRON (FRA / -60kg). The event will take place at the Limak Limra Sport Hall which will be followed by a three-day training camp.
