At the Supplier meeting on Friday adidas took the opportunity to speak to the national Presidents. The EJU presented adidas as Judogi Master Supplier. adidas was represented by its President Cédric Dermée of France. Dermée is a former judoka and represents the brand Double D (David Douillet) license holder for adidas world.
At the conference the contract was signed by EJU President Sergey Soloveychik, EJU Marketing Director Otto Kneitinger and EJU Treasurer Laszlo Tóth.
For President Soloveychik it is a pleasure to sign the contract with Adidas who has supported a Judogi Master Supplier since 1 January.
Dermée took the opportunity to thank the present federations and signed the agreement as Judogi Master Supplier. Dermee opened: “Thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to be a partner of the European Judo Union. Double D (David Douillet) has the license for Adidas for the whole world in judogi.” Dermée stated that all federations are welcome to see what value they can add to come a cooperation.
adidas is supplier of a number of federations such as France.
Dermée is an ex judo player U95kg and personal friend of David Douillet, current Minister of Sports in France and four times World Champion. “It is great to help judo because judo helped us a lot. We help children. For David Douillet judo is a second family. Today we are very proud to be partner with the EJU. For each country we have a distributor in each country. We walk directly with you and we can offer a great service and price.“
EJU President Soloveychik advised the federations to give input and ask questions for the best possible cooperation.
