Adidas Renews Commitment To France

Double D, a French company founded in 1994 by French judokas and Adidas’ worldwide licensee for judo, has renewed its commitment to France Judo for the next four years. This historic partnership, which represents five Olympic Games alongside the French National Team, once again confirms Adidas’ commitment as the official technical and clothing supplier.

During the recently concluded Olympic Games, Adidas was the official supplier of judogis to the French judo, para judo, and ju-jitsu teams. Starting with the 2025 European Judo Championships, to be held from April 23 to 27 in Podgorica, Montenegro, the three-striped brand will also become the clothing supplier for French judokas, technical staff, and the federation’s employees and collaborators.

President of Double D, Cédric Dermée stated,

We are very proud to continue this collaboration with France Judo and to support athletes in their preparation and performances on mats around the world. This partnership embodies our commitment to excellence and innovation, particularly through our eco-responsible approach.

For the next four years, Adidas is committed to working closely with the athletes of the French Judo Team on the development of new products designed to optimise their athletic performance, while continuing its commitment to eco-responsibility. After launching the first IJF Green Label judogi in 2023, designed with a low carbon footprint—a first on the market—innovation will continue to combine performance and respect for the environment, with ambitious new projects, such as the creation of a women’s judogi and the recycling of used judogi throughout France.

Stephane Nomis, President of France Judo added,

Our champions feel good and perform well in Adidas, which is why we wanted to renew our trust in Double D, which has become an Official Partner of France Judo. The brand’s support for the French national teams, as well as for the Federation’s community and civic projects, is crucial for the development of judo and its associated disciplines. Together, we will continue to work to change lives through the teachings, values, and moral code of judo in the years to come.

Together, Adidas and France Judo are writing a new chapter in the history of French judo, driven by the passion, performance, and values of this sport.
