The EJU OTC Going for Gold in Nymburk, Czech Republic has began on Monday (March 9). The organizers expect over 600 participants. This number represents almost 20% increase in comparison with previous years. This training camp is going to be the biggest the Czech Judo Federation has ever organized. Nymburk, a lovely medieval town located some 50 kilometres from Prague, is looking forward to welcoming many judo stars such as Teddy Riner of France, Yarden Gerbi of Israel, Georgii Zantaraya of Ukraine Lukas Krpalek of the Czech Republic as well as many others from 41 countries including seven non-EJU federations. All these facts guarantee the highest possible quality of the trainings and will surely contribute to the further progress and improvements of all participating athletes. Also the best referees selected by the EJU refereeing commission will take part in the training camp and will help the athletes to understand better the rules application. The EJU education committee will have several meeting in Nymburk too. The training camp lasts till next Wednesday.
