The European Judo Union (EJU) held its latest Executive Committee meeting with resounding success, marking another chapter in its dedication to the development and promotion of judo across Europe. Following the conclusion of the formal discussions, attendees were treated to an exclusive tour of the Hungarian Parliament, a gesture that highlighted the strong relationship between the EJU and the host nation.
The tour provided a unique opportunity for committee members to explore the rich political and cultural history of the region. Guided by knowledgeable officials, the group visited iconic chambers, including The City Side Staircase XVII, The Grand Stairway, The Dome Hall, The Lounge of the Chamber of Peers and The Chamber of Peers, gaining insights into the workings of the legislative process and the architectural splendour of the building. Barcelona 1992 silver medallist swimmer and politician, Dr SZABO Tunde also greeted all EJU delegates.
The EJU Executive Committee departed the meeting with renewed determination to advance its mission. The resolutions made during the discussions, combined with the camaraderie strengthened through shared experiences like the Parliament tour, set the stage for impactful developments in the year ahead.
