JUDO HOPES AND EXPERTS HEADING TO BRNO

Brno European Judo Hopes Cup & Technical Session Kodokan Experts

JUDO HOPES AND EXPERTS HEADING TO BRNO

The penultimate European Judo Hopes Cup & Technical Session Kodokan Experts event is set to take place in Brno, Czechia, this upcoming weekend. So far, 320 participants have registered, representing 97 judo clubs from 19 nations. The Kodokan Expert for this weekend will be Misato Nakamura, double Olympic medallist (2008, 2016) and triple World Champion, whilst the European Hero on site will be Majlinda Kelmendi, double World Champion and Olympic Champion 2016.

The European Hopes Judo Cup and Kodokan Technical Seminar is open to clubs from all EJU/IJF Member Federations. Participants compete on behalf of their club, not their federation, and are entered by their club. The IJF nationality rule does not apply, meaning athletes can represent a different nationality than the one listed by the registering national federation. All athletes are required to participate in both the competition and the technical sessions.
