In just one month, the spotlight will be on Nicosia, Cyprus, as it hosts the European Championships of the Small States. This highly anticipated tournament, which will take place on November 2-3, 2024, is exclusively open to the Small Member Federations of the European Judo Union (EJU), including:

- The Faroe Islands
- Iceland
- Liechtenstein
- Luxembourg
- Malta
- Monaco
- Montenegro
- San Marino
The Eleftheria Stadium will be the venue for the championships, with Individual cadets and seniors set to compete on the 2nd of November, followed by the senior mixed teams event on the 3rd of November.
Mr. Sotos Trikomitis, President of the Cyprus Judo Federation, has expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming judoka from these nations, marking the second edition of this unique competition. The tournament aims to provide a platform for these smaller judo nations to showcase their talents and foster growth within the sport.
