In the end of September 17 countries were gathered in Paris to participate in the Education Seminar organized by the EJU in close cooperation with the French Judo Federation hosting the event.
Major goal was exchange about different matters: judo for children and teenagers, kata, judo culture and judo for adults.
This Seminar was supervised by EJU Vice-President Franco Capelletti, EJU Education Director Bénédicte Rouby, with intervention of the experts of the Commission: Jean Paul Ramillon, Nuno Delgado, Vincente Caratalla, Eugène Domagata, Cataldo D’ Arcangelo and Michel Huet.
The seminar was honoured to be welcomed by Jean-Luc Rougé, the new IJF General Secretary and President of the French Judo Federation.
The seminar was proud to have EJU General Secretary Envic Galea and Josephine Galleja from the EJU Secretariat.
Judo is first of all practiced on the mat…and all the participants put themselves in action in order to demonstrate, exchange and carry out the pedagogical situations proposed by the experts in an excellent convivial working atmosphere. Everybody promised to meet regularly, to work together and to share experience.
To note that the day before the Seminar the participants assisted to France –Japan solidarity gala organised following the earthquake that occurred last March. The revenues of this event will be transferred to the Japanese associations.
On this occasion, the EJU made an important donation.
