Former international referee Heinrich Huske died last week unexpectedly during working on his house. The 73-year old German started judo in 1960 and led Judo club TV Pirmasens since 1962.
In 1986 Huske became international referee and was active during various European Championships and other major international events.
In 1996 he said goodbye to his task as international referee in Monte Carlo.
Huske created a true judo family with his daughter Kerstin, and son-in-law Andreas Hempel who is also a referee.
The German federation will remember and honour Heiner Huske.
