The EJU Education department have yet more great news, and now it is time to share with coaches, parents as well as education and health agents.
Following the EJU investments in e-learning courses, to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and empower the Judo community, we present the new program teaching the Judo Values, developed by the “European Week of Judo Values”. The “European Week of Judo Values” is an Erasmus+ program supported by the EJU Education Commission, available free of charges with 3 modules for 3 different targets: Coaches, Parents plus Health and Educational Professionals.
Participants will have the chance to improve their skills, to share best practices, to use the tools in order to promote Judo Values – Since Judo is ‘More Than a Sport ‘. Especially the video from UNESCO, known as “the intellectual branch of United Nations” states the relevance of Judo in children’s education and forming active citizens.
Everyone who partakes in the courses can receive a certificate of “Proud Advocate of Play for Peace”, the umbrella created to reunite Judo Values and the attitude that they transmit to judokas.
Due to the success and importance of the ‘European Week of Judo Values’ (EWJV), EJU will continue this program, in 2024, and is preparing an Erasmus+ candidacy for the following years, having already received letters of intention from several European Federations.
