They know and appreciate each other. The European Judo Union and the US mat manufacturer FUJI MATS are extending their partnership for another two years, until the end of 2024. This guarantees the European member federations continued top quality judo mats at a preferential price.

Jimmy Pedro enjoys legend status in martial arts circles: he was judo world champion in 1999 and two-time Olympic medallist. He participated in the Olympic Games no less than six times, four times as an active athlete and twice as head coach of the US team. He is a holder of the 7th Dan. For many years, the sensei has served as president of FUJI Mats. “We can look back on more than 50 years of experience in the production of tatamis, coupled with great passion.
