Dear Judo Family! It is time for you to get involved and nominate an athlete for the EJU Fair Play Award.
On the initiative of EJU President Dr László Tóth, the EJU Fair Play Commission was founded in autumn 2022, with the two co-chairs Giorgi Atabegashvili (GEO) and Gábor Deregán (HUN).
After a first, very successful presentation of the concept of fair play during the Champions League last November in Gori, Georgia, the EJU is launching the EJU Fair Play Award.
This award is meant to recognise acts of fair play and sportsmanship and all participants, officials, media representatives and spectators are kindly invited to send nominations for the EJU Fair Play Awards 2022.
To submit a nomination, please add:
- Name and country of the person proposed for the nomination
- The competition or venue where the act took place
- Photo, video link or description of the fair play act
Please send all nominations to [email protected] before the deadline, 28th February 2023.
