During the Senior European Cup event in Celje-Podcetrtek, Slovenia, 24 referees were assessed for the Continental Referee Examination.
Present were Head Referee Director, Alexandr JATSKEVITCH and Referee Commissioners, Tonino CHYURLIA, Franky DE MOOR and Franc OCKO who is also General Secretary of the Slovenian Judo Federation.
Given the entry, the commission were more than happy with the referees ability to demonstrate their competence throughout the tournament. In the end following both the theoretical exam and their performance on the tatami, all referees passed the exam and were awarded their badge, tie and diploma, with some of the referees awarded 6.0 classification to distinguish their higher level.
