We have all age divisions competing around the world this weekend, cadets in Croatian, seniors in Mongolia and the juniors in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
There are 240 athletes inscribed to compete in the Sport Hall Laktasi on the 25th and 26th of June, and glancing at the seeding, the French seem to hold most of the top positions. It will be a tough competition with some of the top nations having great entries to rival that of the hosts.
Among the young women is 2020 -70kg junior European champion, Katarzyna SOBIERAJSKA (POL) who has also medalled on the world stage at this level, as well as on the IJF circuit. She is certainly racking up plenty of experience as the 20 year-old will soon be a permanent senior fixture.
One of the younger additions to the Junior circuit is Valerio ACCOGLI (ITA), cadet European bronze medallist only last year. However since stepping up as a junior he seems he can do no wrong, taking golds in both Lignano and Coimbra, it will be interesting to see if he can keep up his golden streak.
The elimination rounds are set to start at 09:00 local time on both days of competition but don’t miss the live draw on Friday 24th at 20:00 which will be found at www.eju.net.
