It is a very busy weekend for the EJU federations, especially in Bucharest where the Romanian Judo Federation are hosting the Cadet European Cup with over 400 entries, including 45 of their own.
The two day event will be held in the Polyvalenta Sport Hall under covid-19 protocols which will undoubtedly be well organised as now it is becoming a better understood process by coaches and athletes, cadet right through to senior level.
It has of course been a big adjustment but the general consensus is that all are just happy to be back in competition and to put all their hard training to use to take home some medals. We are grateful to the national federations who are working hard to bring back some sense of normality to their young and developing athletes who have unfortunately had to face longer away from competition until it was safe to return.
